When I first started wearing lipstick all I would buy is MAC lipstick. It was creamy and I loved that it didn’t have that old chemical smell to it. It was the norm to constantly have to reapply your lipstick throughout the day.
As I’ve gotten older and further along in my makeup artist career I realized the importance of having a long-wear lip color. Reapplying is ok if you are someone who has the time and availability to keep checking your appearance. But for those of us who need to be ready to go for a meeting, or to teach a class, or even just a night out on the town…we need lipstick that has some staying power!! Then the universe blessed us with liquid matte lipstick!! ** Cue heavenly music**
